Although our breakfast was tasty, and our waitress was kind & helpful, I wonder what the point of a reservation is, if you still need to wait 50 minutes for a table to become available? We stopped for lunch while exoloring the shops by the river, and were very happy with our food. The aromas, as you walk by outside, give a hint of savory southern seasonings. We tried the shrimp Creole, the rice and beans with sausage, and the crawfish etouffee. Everything was delicious. We enoyed people watching out the large windows, as well... 更多
We had no plans for dinner, walked by Huey's, and decided to try it. So glad we did! Our server, Mac, is Savannah born and bred. He was super helpful, kind, funny, and made great food recommendations (loved that salmon!). Overall, thrilled our choice and thankful for Mac!
Huey's is smack dab where you want to be when visiting the River walk area. They have tables outside and inside at the bar if you don't want to wait for a real table in their restaurant.
